The 2nd Annual Bowling Event I have some spare time this morning so I’ll take a moment to pin down some highlights from the 2nd annual Wide World of Maps Bowling Event. I’ll try to frame it in a way that’s right up your alley. One I know that will strike a cord with everyone. Ron Lyon was the official event photographer, below are has some great candid and action shots of everyone.

Awards and Special Recognitions Top Ten Scores: The High Game winner was Doug Minnis who received an attractive “I Love Maps” frame. 181 – Doug M   167 – Brett S 179 – Larry B  165 – Jim W 174 – Jim D 158 – Chris B 170 – Jim W 155 – Yuri Z 168 – Larry B    155 – Harry C   Top Ten 2 Game Series: The High Series winner was Larry Bakke who received a gift certificate to the Armadillo Grill. 347 – Larry B.   280 – Chris B 335 – Jim W  280 – Robert O.  321 – Jim D 279 – Harry C    291 – Doug M  274 – Brett S 281 – Todd S    270 – Yuri Z   Most Gutter Balls: We really did not count exact numbers here but have relied on independent reporting by fellow team members. Each member of this elite group will receive a Chums Bottle Holder Clip Beth M, Paul A, and Kelly M. During an interview one of them stated, “I didn’t notice the bumpers were missing until the 5th frame”. Another said, “I couldn’t get my head out of the lane”. The third just disappeared to the bar.   Worst Bowling Shirt: This prestigious honor comes along with an acrylic pyramid globe paperweight. Beth Mayer Beth was walking the runways (or lanes) with a gaudy red shirt with white frilly lace. There was a message on her shirt about being sarcastic. You’ve got to have attitude to handle that many gutter balls!!!!
