What are the system requirements to use MacroMAP Lite? |
|
MacroMAP Lite is designed to work in Adobe Reader 5.0 or greater. MacroMAP Lite will not work on earlier versions of Adobe Reader, and it will prompt you to upgrade to at least version 5.0. |

Can I load MacroMAP Lite onto my hard drive? |

MacroMAP Lite map
files can be loaded to the hard drive for faster operation,
however, the CD-ROM is still required in your CD-ROM drive
to run the program. |

Can I create points, routes, or turn-by-turn directions with MacroMAP Lite? |
|
|
MacroMAP Lite is a PDF version of the print atlas. Each page of the atlas has its own PDF page which can be viewed separately. The find a location with the program, you will need to look in the index to find a map page and grid just like you would with the printed atlas. |

How much area can I print? |
|
|
Each page of the book (map page or index page) can be reduced to print on a standard 8.5" x 11" or tiled to print on four pages to be cut and spliced together. |

How many user-licenses does one CD-ROM purchase give? |
|
|
Each copy of MacroMAP Lite is licensed for one user/one computer. Multiple user licenses and site
licensing are available as well as volume discounts.

Can I export MacroMAP Lite images to other programs? |
|
|
MacroMAP Lite map images can be exported (saved out) as an eps, jpg, pdf, png, or tif image which can then be brought
into other programs. Map images can also be added to a clipboard and pasted into Windows (as a bitmap). |

This License does
not authorize commercial display, publication, or the reproduction of
multiple copies of maps, for sale or commercial distribution, or for educational
or other institutional except as authorized herein. Wide World of Maps,
Inc. maps are protected under copyright laws.
LIMITED MAP PUBLICATION
AND DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS Flyers. Brochures, Reports and Locator Maps -
You may reproduce MacroMAP Lite map displays or printouts in paper materials
for distribution at no charge to associates, clients, customers or prospects
of your business or institution. This limited right to reproduce output
from MacroMAP Lite for indirect commercial or nonprofit distribution is subject
to the conditions that: (I) map or illustration made with MacroMAP Lite may
be reproduced or distributed is limited to a total quantity of 50 copies;
(II) no MacroMAP Lite output may be distributed in a collection or sheaf of
more than five (5) such maps or illustrations; (III) no such distribution
may constitute a publication for sale, resale or contain paid advertising.
Special permission in writing from Wide World of Maps, Inc. is required
to extend these permission limitations.
MAP DISPLAY OR PRESENTATION
RIGHTS You may export modified or unmodified MacroMAP Lite map screen display
to other programs, or use direct MacroMAP Lite printouts, for limited public
display, in conjunction with text or other graphic images, on a single
computer monitor or large presentation screen to viewers at the place
where the exported maps or printouts are located. You may not export,
distribute or display MacroMAP Lite map output via network, transmission to
remote locations or electronic mass media such as television, video tape
or public coaxial cable.
It is requested that
the MacroMAP Lite user sign and mail in the "single user" Agreement enclosed
in the information sheet supplied.
