GPS FAQs

Q. Does GARMIN offer an International version of the StreetPilot or MapSource CD-ROMs and MetroGuide cartridges?

A. GARMIN does offer both an Americas and Atlantic International version of the StreetPilot, as well as MapSource CD-ROMs for much of Europe and the United States. In the pre-programmed MetroGuide cartridges, only the U.S. is covered at this time. As new mapping becomes available, GARMIN will continue to expand its coverage areas for detailed mapping. Please note: With the StreetPilot, StreetPilot ColorMap, eMap and GPSMAP 295 units, an additional blank memory cartridge of 8Mb or 16MB is required to download maps into the GPS from the CD-ROMs. Please keep checking back with us because we continually try to acquire new data sources and we're always developing new products.
