This guide covers the east coast of Baja from Cabo San Lucas to Conception Bay, where it overlaps the Cruising Guide to the Middle Gulf. The anchorages on the islands of Cerralvo, Espiritu Santo, Partida, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, Santa Cruz, Santa Catalina, Monserrat, and San Cosme are also included. Over 120 areas with their anchorages are described, with 152 photos, 77 detailed charts, in 150 pages. The author has personally anchored and surveyed every anchorage described. In most, extensive GPS readings have been taken to provide an accurate fix. Shorelines are taken from the Mexican 1:50,000 topographical maps, the only modern survey of the Gulf. The full color pages are spiral bound to lie flat.
