The Texas Atlas & Gazetteer Includes 139 quadrangular maps covering the entire state. The scale of the maps is 1:260,000 (one unit of measure on the map represents 260,000 units of the same measure on the ground). Each map page is composed of 42 minutes of longitude and 40 minutes of latitude, covering an area approximately 42.4 miles (68.2 km) wide by 61.5 miles (99 km) high.
To create a wall map of Texas, join the 139 maps together using two atlases. The resulting mosaic will measure approximately 16 feet wide by 17-1/2 feet high
