6A is Arizona's most unique & versatile game management region offering diverse wildlife varieties & habitats found nowhere else in North America.

6A will journey up to the high elevations of Arizona's ponderosa forests, descending to the pinon-juniper belts, then to the high chaparral, down to the river basin touching the fringes of the Sonoran Desert; this region also offers a variety of riparian zones.

This highly sought after hunt unit almost entirely lies within the Coconino National Forest, with small islands of private properties in various sections.

6A is famed for offering one of the most diverse species of big game, e.g. trophy elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, rocky mountain bighorn sheep, antelope, mountain lion, black bear, turkey, & javelina.There is excellent hunting for tree squirrel, cottontail rabbits, fox, coyote, bobcat, & more.

Because there are vast numbers of lakes, tanks, ponds, rivers, & streams, it produces good waterfowl hunting & fishing as well.

6B offers some of the world's most beautiful scenery & wildlife habitat. From the North's high elevation ponderosa forest, heading down into the pinyon-juniper belts, & moving to its Southern Verde River Basin, this stunning region of Arizona will delight & intrigue any outdoor enthusiast.

This highly sought after unit is walled & surrounded by two famed canyons: from the West, Sycamore Canyon, & to the East, the world famous landscape of Oak Creek Canyon; & almost lies entirely within the Coconino & Prescott National Forests with islands of state & private lands.
