Iran is the country Trump loves to vilify, which probably makes it a more interesting country to visit. Political rhetoric aside, Iran is a lovely country, full of warm and hospitable people, interesting touristic and religious sites, and is a country well worth visiting and enjoying. The country has endured decades of crippling sanctions, but now appears to be on the verge of a major recovery as sanctions have mostly been lifted. This 6th edition has added a new feature, noting Top Attractions, such as ancient Persepolis, the Towers of Silence that were built by Zoroastrians centuries ago, and the Tabriz Historic Bazaar -- all of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites.
