New Mexico Detailed Topographic Maps (DeLorme Atlas & Gazetteer)
The New Mexico Atlas & Gazetteer includes 46 quadrangular maps covering the entire state (pages 12-57) and 13 city maps with street name indexes (pages 58-71).
The scale of the state maps is 1:300,000 (one unit of measure on the map represents 300,000 units of the same measure on the ground). Each map page is composed of 48 minutes of longitude and 58 minutes of latitude, covering an area approximately 45.5 miles (73.2 km) wide by 65.8 miles (105.9 km) high. To create a wall map of New Mexico, join the 46 maps together using two atlases. The resulting mosaic will measure approximately 6.5 feet wide by 7 feet high.
The scale of the city maps is 1:29,000 (one unit of measure on the map represents 29,000 units of the same measure on the ground). Each city map is represented by a blue rectangle on the state maps.
