World Executive Political Wall Map - Antique-Style Modern Reference Map - Enlarged 73 × 48 Inches - Gloss Premium Mounted

A current political map that features our world in rich, earth-toned colors. Astounding detail and boardroom quality make this map excellent for reference in your home or office. Features the Winkel Tripel projection to reduce distortion of land masses as they near the poles.

Enlarged maps provide an immersive experience in any home or office environment. The exceptional cartography is even easier to appreciate at the larger size.

The map is encapsulated in heavy-duty 1.7 mil laminate, which makes the paper much more durable and resistant to the swelling and shrinking caused by changes in humidity. Laminated maps can be framed without the need for glass, so the frames can be much lighter and less expensive. Gloss Lamination features premium optically clear film, which provides a high shine for dramatic color presentation.

Premium Mounts are mounted on foamcore, with edge taping. Foamcore is a board of polystyrene foam clad with an outer facing of white clay-coated paper on either side. It is the preferred medium for using map tacks and map pins. Each premium mounted item comes with edge taping, hanging tabs, wall hangers, and nails for wall presentation.
