Europe at Night Gloss Ready-to-Hang

Europe At Night Gloss ready-to-Hang is a 24×36 inches (61×91cm) black & white satellite map. In contrast to daytime images, where only natural features are easily visible, the activities of Europeans at night are readily traced in this mosaic of images taken over the period 1985-89 by U.S. Air Force weather satellites. This unique image reveals the extent of light energy use, especially in the densely-populated Northern parts of Europe. Even in the south, Spain and Italy are framed by the thread of coastal habitation.

Gloss Lamination features premium optically clear film which provides a high shine for dramatic color presentation. The gloss laminated map is a convenient and useful at-a-glance reference ready for wet-erase or alcohol-erase markers, sticker dots or arrows, or graphic tape.

Ready-to-Hang maps have rails at the top and the bottom to keep the map flat against the wall with two loops on the top rail for easy hanging. A package of wall hooks and nails completes the set.
