View the entire Valley of the Sun metropolitan area on a single desktop-sized gloss laminated sheet showing major (arterial) streets, freeways, and expressways, as well as locating communities, river channels, canals, and railways. It is popular for general reference and for the current and planned highway system. The colors are used to show the incorporated cities, making it easy to locate the official area of each city. An inset shows the region of downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport in greater detail.

The map is encapsulated in heavy-duty 1.7 mil laminate which makes the paper much more durable and resistant to the swelling and shrinking caused by changes in humidity. Laminated maps can be framed without the need for glass, so the frames can be much lighter and less expensive. Gloss Lamination features premium optically clear film which provides a high shine for dramatic color presentation. This is a convenient and useful at-a-glance reference ready for wet-erase or alcohol-erase markers, self-adhesive dots or arrows, and/or graphic tape.

Economical Mounts are mounted on foamcore. Foamcore is a board of polystyrene foam clad with an outer facing of white clay-coated paper on either side. It is the preferred medium for using map tacks and pins. Each economical-mounted item comes with mirror hangers and screws for wall presentation.
