Saint Johns, Arizona (Surface Management Status 1:100,000-Scale Topographic Map)
Intermediate scale surface management status maps (1:100,000) are published by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for use in management of the public lands. The maps in this series are rectangular in shape, portraying areas that are one degree of longitude wide (from east to west) and 30 minutes of latitude high (from north to south). They are printed on sheets that are 107 cm. by 76 cm. (42" × 30") in size. Maps in this series show Township, Range, and Section lines; some roads, streams, towns, and other cultural and physiographic features.
The Surface Management maps also portray public lands management by the Bureau of Land Management; other Federal lands including those of the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, and other State lands and private lands. Restrictions in the management of federal lands established by withdrawals also are shown.
