Spain/Portugal Map Map Type: Matte Laminated

The National Geographic wall map of Spain and Portugal shows both countries in incredible detail. Also included are inset maps that show major cities and surrounding islands in higher detail.

The map is encapsulated in heavy-duty 1.6 mil laminate which makes the paper much more durable and resistant to the swelling and shrinking caused by changes in humidity. Laminated maps can be framed without the need for glass, so the frames can be much lighter and less expensive. Matte Laminate is a more professional and elegant finish. The velvety texture of the finish makes for a pleasant tactile experience. The matte soft finish is less reflective than gloss, giving a more natural look. The reduced shine absorbs more small scratches and scuffs without looking "beat up".
